On Tuesday, June 21, 2016 Margaret passed away at the age of 88 in the Kelowna General Hospital, Kelowna, BC. She was predeceased by Dad (Glen) on October 7, 1999.

Olive Marion Stadnick, late of Weyburn, passed away June 18, 2016, at the age of 91 years. Olive was predeceased by her husband Mike Stadnick; her parents: John and Emilia Strandlien; younger brother Morris and brother Ernest.

(Babe) Gertrude Isabel Lavonne Bannatyne, late of Weyburn and formerly Estevan, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the age of 101 years.

The Weyburn Beavers are heading on an extensive road trip, where they will play against several Alberta-based teams. The Beavers will be in Medicine Hat for a doubleheader tonight, June 29, and Thursday, June 30.

Members of the Rotary Club of Weyburn were given a final presentation by their exchange student for the past year, Giovanna Palhares, at a supper meeting on Thursday evening.

The Weyburn Comp’s award-winning Entrepreneurship student company, “In the Mix”, wrapped up their year on Friday morning capping off the highest revenues of any student-run company to date.
