Fourteen members of the Weyburn Wrestling Club attended a meet in Medicine Hat, AB. on January 17. There were over 170 wrestlers from Alberta and Saskatchewan in attendance.

On January 11, police conducted a vehicle stop and found the driver, a 29 year-old male to be under the influence of alcohol. The male was charged with driving a vehicle while impaired and refusal to provide a breath sample.

The New Year will see the Weyburn Soo Line Historical Museum temporarily closing its doors until March 2. Although the museum will be closed during the winter months, group tours of six or more can be booked by calling the museum at 306-842-2922.
