Robert George Bares, late of Weyburn, passed away November 22, 2014, at the age of 75 years. Robert was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Lena Beres; grandparents: John and Margaret Beres, Matt and Susanna Young.

Eric Scott Lanktree passed away suddenly on November 3, 2014 at the age of 25 years. Eric was born on April 10, 1989 in Arcola, the only child of Brian and Carrie Lanktree. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, L.

The van Staveren family, along with Mayor Debra Button, applaud after bidding finished for a special Ukrainian-themed tree, and the family then learned that the buyer of the tree, Mal Barber, donated it back to the family.

Early bird tickets are now available for the huge reunion, planned for all the Weyburn Comp classes from the 1950s to the 1990s, which is being planned in Weyburn for the end of July in 2016.
