The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce's annual Farmer Appreciation Night is coming up soon on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at McKenna Hall, featuring the presentation of the Golden Sheaf Award. The nominations are open for the Golden Sheaf until Thursday, Oct.

The Weyburn Police Service responded to a report of a fight at a local pub on Sunday. Upon attending they found a 22-year-old male victim unconscious on the ground and appearing to have suffered significant head trauma.

Walter Keith Foster, late of Weyburn, passed away October 3, 2014, at the age of 84 years. Walter was predeceased by his parents Frank and Gertrude Foster; sister Marion; brother Lorne.

Midale (cpd) - Midale Central School's School-Community Council will host its annual general meeting on Monday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at the school's commons area in the high school side.
