Weyburn Review

Donna Loos and Marion Loucks make rhubarb pies in preparation for the Weyburn Wheat Festival. The Soo Line Historical Museum will be selling saskatoon and rhubarb pies, and bread, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday of the Wheat Festival.

The eighth annual Gateway Festival was recently held in the town of Bengough.

The Crocus 80 Theatre will be hosting a casting call on Saturday, August 4 for two upcoming plays. Along with a call for actors, the theatre company will also be looking for backstage crew as well as lighting and sound technicians.

Weyburn Comprehensive School is hosting the Canadian Student Leadership Conference in two months. This conference, the first national conference to be hosted in Weyburn, is from September 25 to 29 inclusive.

The RBC Hometown Champions Cheer Tour will be making a stop in Weyburn this Friday. The tour invites Canadians to show their love and support for Canada's Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
