The Kamsack Comprehensive Institute junior Spartan football team defeated the Watson team 48 to 18 in Watson on September 19. “Our offensive units scored a touchdown on every series and looked very dominant,” said Tylor Lorenzo, a coach.

The Norquay School junior boys volleyball team won the gold medal at a tournament played in Sturgis on September 16 and 17.

The Preeceville School junior volleyball team remained undefeated and captured the championship during the Sturgis Composite High School junior volleyball tournament on September 24.

Canadian Wrestling Elite (CWE) took to Yorkton on Sept. 22, presenting their tour Destined for Greatness at Yorkdale Central School. The event is touring across four provinces and putting off ten shows.

The SHHS Saints football team continued their winning streak at home last Thursday, when they faced the Foam Lake Panthers. The game’s final score was 46-16.

The Canora Composite School junior football team played its first game of the season in Canora against the Preeceville Panthers on September 19. The team managed to keep up with the Preeceville players but unfortunately lost by a score of 12-14.
