Twenty locals came out last Tuesday to take part in the Charity Road Race's Learn to Run at the Yorkton Regional High School. Sylvia Gay of Yorkton has been participating in the Road Race for three years and said she loves doing it.

The Health Foundation Road Race is featuring Learn to Run clinics each Tuesday and Thursday evening at 5:45 p.m., at the YRHS parking lot. The City of Yorkton is providing wakeboard lessons next month at York Lake.

There was plenty of Junior baseball played this past weekend, both at home and on the road. Going back to last Tuesday night on home field as they took on Willowbrook in South East Senior Baseball League action.

The Sacred Heart April Male Athlete of the Month is a multi-sport, Gr. 11 student. He was an integral part of the provincial champion boy's soccer team, playing at the midfield position.

The Yorkton Kids of Steel (KOS) triathlon went on as scheduled Sunday morning at the Gallagher Centre as 20 kids from Yorkton, Regina and Kamsack took part in swimming, running and cycling.
