The Regina Police Service thanks the public and the media for their support and cooperation. 

Bodycam footage revealed his attempt to escape — ramming an SUV into cruisers and a prolonged struggle involving strikes, a Taser, and a strike with the butt of a service revolver. 

Shortly after 7 a.m. on April 24, police were called to the area of 20th Street West and Avenue D South for a report of an injured person.

At around 6:30 p.m. on April 24, police were called to a mall in the 3300 block of 8th Street East for a report of bear spray being discharged inside one of the stores within.

The first-quarter statistics include the months of January, February, and March and is measured and compared to previous years to identify anomalies or trends.

On March 12 at approximately 2 a.m., Wynyard RCMP officers arrested an adult male during a traffic stop on B Avenue in Wynyard in relation to an ongoing investigation.

Anyone who has information that could assist police in this investigation is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500.

On April 18, the Canora RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Canora to investigate an assault. Police attended the home and learned that a man and a woman had assaulted each other.

The 47-year-old pedestrian victim of the collision remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
