Jared Blaquiere from Edam helped the Prince Albert Mintos win the Western Regional Championship in Prince Albert on April 6 with a 4-3 victory over the Notre Dame Argos. The Mintos went on to capture the Telus Cup in Moose Jaw April 27.

Records broken at K-6 track and field meet

The elementary track and field meet was held for the students from kindergarten to Grade 6 June 3. The day started around 10 a.m. The weather co-operated and there was an excellent turnout of spectators.
