MONTGOMERY ~ Leila Mary Montgomery passed away in Battlefords Union Hospital, North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the age of 79 years.

DORVAL: In Loving Memory of Shirley Ellen Dorval who was born August 18, 1940 at Dodsland, SK and passed away September 8, 2013 at North Battleford, SK.

Another beautiful week of combining weather. Thursday had me wondering where my long johns are. That wind and air was coming off a polar ice cap somewhere. It left a heavy frost on everything in the morning.

ZIMMERMAN: Mr. Larry Albert Zimmerman passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Battlefords Union Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 @ 2 p.m.

RCMP Major Crime Unit North have arrested and charged Nicholas Clifford Giroux, 36, with second degree murder. Giroux appeared in court in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Tuesday afternoon and his case was adjourned to Oct. 4 at 9:30 am.
