Dear Editor Recently our government made the difficult and much-discussed decision to discontinue three financially unjustifiable STC routes: Blaine Lake to North Battleford, Regina to Lanigan and Eastend to Swift Current/Mossbank.

Pass, shoot, score, defend and hit. Those are the basic skills any young hockey player looks to develop, but hitting might not be on the list for much longer.
