Preparation was the key in both results on the weekend trip to Flin Flon for the Battlefords North Stars. Friday the North Stars were ready to play, scored the first two goals and skated to a 6-3 win.

Emergency crews responded Wednesday to two motor vehicle accidents in the city. One was a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 104th Street and 15th Avenue. No injuries resulted, however one vehicle sustained significant damage.
