Over two dozen cats are now in the care of the Saskatoon SPCA after they were seized from a North Battleford home Feb. 15.

North West Terminal Ltd. has announced a 22 cent per share dividend to shareholders from business conducted in 2011.

Battlefords residents were treated to a strange lightshow Tuesday night, after a meteor lit up the sky briefly around 9:40 p.m.

The Neilburg seniors held their monthly Games Day Feb. 6 at the Friendship Korner. Marrian Graham and Vonnie Rutherford teamed up to win the A side of the shuffleboard tournament. Irene Ducherer and Shirley Nuspl were the runners-up.

Two Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League teams had their seasons end this week, while 10 remain in the hunt for the Canalta Cup. As the league moves to playoff action, the regular season award nominees have been announced both for players and coaches.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon Feb. 12, members of the Hames and Harness Horse Club gathered at the H. Don and Kathy Heidel farm.

Denholm Curling Club held their annual bonspiel Feb. 4 and 5 with nine teams entered and $1,400 given out in prize money.
