St. Mary Community School, partnering with North West Regional College, is taking education to a whole new level. As an elementary school St. Mary has always focused on teaching students in and out of the classroom.

Scott Manners rink had to steal a point in the 10th end of the SaskTel Provincial Men's Tankard in Assiniboia and did so to advance to the Battlefords' rink second extra end elimination game.

Dear Editor I am writing in reference to "4-Hers experience historic moment at NFR" (Regional Optimist, Feb. 3). I was a member of the 4-H system for approximately 18 years.

Ocean Smart is a name anyone familiar with curling in the Battlefords would recognize. Smart was one of the Battlefords' top high school curlers while she attended John Paul II.
