Fire on Sweetgrass

A fire that broke out Saturday on Sweetgrass First Nation is under investigation by the RCMP. According to police, the fire started shortly before 4:30 p.m., with the residence already engulfed in flames as police arrived.

A new date has been chosen for the preliminary hearing for a former home care worker accused of assaulting a 20-year-old victim at a group home for those suffering severe intellectual and physical disabilities.
