Muskowekwan First Nation — A 13-year-old boy from the Muskowekwan First Nation has been missing for almost a month. Jaiven Lloyd Morin was last seen near Punnichy on March 15 and has not returned home since.

MELFORT — After matching each other in score in the first half of the game, the Melfort Mustangs lost the third game of the finals after the Battlefords North Stars made a breakthrough late in the second period.

MELFORT — The City of Melfort is hiring a traffic engineer to examine the Bemister Avenue East and Scotia Street intersection at the northeast corner of Brunswick Elementary School.

HUMBOLDT — A radiothon to help the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation raise money for new equipment has raised almost $73,000 as of April 15 – with more expected to come. The Equip To Care Radiothon was held April 8 to 11 in conjunction with 107.

MELFORT — Melfort council has unanimously voted against bylaw changes that would further develop Creekside Community subdivision. MI Developments Ltd.

HUMBOLDT — Traffic will be able to pass the intersection of Highway 5 and 16th Street while repairs are underway, but it will be treated as a four-way stop. The repairs will take place on April 15 and 16, weather permitting.

RM OF HUMBOLDT, RM OF ST. PETER — Two grass fires over the weekend have the Humboldt Fire Department asking local residents and farmers to be aware of their surroundings.

TISDALE — The Tisdale Trojans are ready to compete against the country’s best at the Telus Cup. “I’m really looking forward to showing all the big cities what a little town can do,” Trojans forward Kalen Ukrainetz said.
