The City of North Battlefords got their first look at the proposed Greater Battlefords Marketing Alliance Jan. 14, with the Town of Battleford seeing the plans for the entity the following week at town council.

A grant from the Nico Hawryliw Fund was presented to the Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation for the Victor Pearsall Home Care Fund. The amount of $1,233.78 is the first annual grant from the endowed fund.

The Battlefords has seen a number of motor vehicle collisions over the past several days. Thursday, a single vehicle rollover happened north of the city on Highway 4 at the grid 378 corner. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m.
