After one of the most successful Battlefords Midget Stars' season in recent memory the team definitely had many things to be proud of as the program moves forward.

The New Horizons brought curling to a close March 26 when they held a mini-money spiel with everyone playing a minimum of three games. No one came away rich, nor was there anyone destitute when the last rock was thrown.

Gervais and Mavericks set for NCAA playoffs

Freshman forward Bryce Gervais and the Minnesota State University Mavericks hockey team played in front of 15,971 fans at the Xcel Energy Centre March 21. The reason was the 2013 Red Baron WCHA Final Five game.
