There was enough snow on the ground and the trails were freshly groomed at the Humboldt Golf Course on January 8 for the Carlton Trail Ski Club's Jack-rabbits group to get in a practice before they host an upcoming provincial Sask Cup race.

Strong showing on weekend for AA Barons

The Battlefords Phoenix Sports Bantam AA Barons were on the road again on the weekend and made it a solid trip, earning three of four points. In Waldheim Saturday, the Barons won 4-2 after taking a 4-0 lead.
