Seed of the Year West has announced that CDC Bethune Flax has been selected as the 2012-13 winner. CDC Bethune's consistently high seed yield and reliable agronomic package made it the flax variety of choice throughout the past decade.

The last day of classes before the winter break is Friday, December 21, 2012. Students return to classes on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013. The Mosaic Meal (Potluck) will again be held on the last day before the break, Dec. 21.
