More than 300 people braved high winds, drifting snow and cold temperatures on Sunday morning to attend the annual Remembrance Day service in the Estevan Comprehensive School.

The Weyburn Police Association's bargaining committee went public with their grievances after an attempt to have conciliation for their contract talks with the City of Weyburn failed.

Band teacher, Tanya Cameron, conducts the Weyburn Comprehensive Grade 11 and 12 school band at the high school on Wednesday. The students are practicing daily in preparation for their upcoming Christmas concert on Dec. 18, at 7:30 p.m.
