During the week of Jan. 20-26, the Weyburn Police Service attended to 65 calls for service. City police were called to a local business on Monday.

Calling all families! It's dance time!

On Friday, Feb. 1, a family dance is going to be held at Carlyle Memorial Hall between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Prices for the night of entertainment are $15 for adults, $10 for kids, and $30 for a family. Tickets will be available at the door.

Town Council held their second meeting of the year on Jan. 16. Here a number of topics were discussed. Notably, council member Jenn Sedor brought the findings of the Carlyle Family Youth needs assessment to all present.

February is Heart Month and the Heart&Stroke Foundation will be hosting a kick off rally event to begin the month-long focus on the fight against heart disease.

RCMP Report

Between Jan. 11 and Jan. 17 the Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP responded to 43 calls for service. On Jan. 11 there was a panic alarm at a residence in Arcola.
