Two upcoming fundraisers will be held to support a group of 12 fiddlers, from the Stoughton-Forget area, who will be traveling to Cape Breton Island in October to attend the Celtic Colours Music Festival.

“Sweet Saturday” is looking forward to being part of a great Weyburn tradition, when they perform at the Cugnet Centre for the Communithon Concert Jam on Saturday, October 21. The Moose Jaw-based vocal trio is a folk and roots band.

“Rugged Little Thing” is hoping to learn some new stories from new fans and friends, when they perform at the Cugnet Centre for the Communithon Concert Jam on Saturday, October 21.

The next performance in the Estevan Arts Council’s Stars for Saskatchewan series will be a tribute to the many great musicians who have come from Canada. The show will be on Oct. 1 at Estevan Comprehensive School, starting at 2:30 p.m.

A new exhibit at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM) reflects the personal journeys through depression and anxiety for the artist. Robyn Anderson’s Nature and Other Terrible Things is on display inside Gallery No. 2.

Nashville singer-songwriters Victoria Banks and Phil Barton treated music lovers to an evening of the stories behind their songs when they returned to Arcola's historic MacMurray Theatre Wednesday, Sept. 6.
