Submitted by Heather van der Breggen Four years ago a group of artists decided to create an outdoor art market called ArtFarm. The first year 750 of the community attended. In 2015, the event boasted an attendance of 3,000.

Two main stage shows, limited engagement performances, children’s theatre camps, concerts and other attractions will be part of the upcoming season for the Souris Valley Theatre.

Theresa Caputo remembers how she secured her reality television show, Long Island Medium, that appears on the TLC network. The father of a friend of hers, Courtney Mullin, died more than 10 years ago.

Oliver Swain and Glenna Garramone are big fans of Leonard Cohen. It’s evident in the name of the duet, Tower of Song, which is also the name of a popular song written by the famed Canadian musician and songwriter.

The Me’ira Belly Dance Troupe showcased their talents on June 4 with an evening of dancing at the Souris Valley Theatre’s Frehlick Hall.

The charm of the equestrian circus performance, Circo Ma’Ceo, wooed an audience of all ages, at Affinity Place.

Joshua Pele has been working hard to promote the Souris Valley Theatre’s upcoming summer theatre camps to local youth.

Some sat in the shade, others relished the exposure to the sunshine following a few rainy days, and all enjoyed the musical offerings of the Estevan Comprehensive School Band’s year-end concert on Sunday afternoon.
