Weekly RCMP report

Between Feb. 15 and Feb. 21 the Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP responded to 50 calls. On Feb. 15 there was a false alarm call at a business in Kenosee Lake. An employee was on site and called RCMP immediately to let them they were not needed.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of February 17 to 23: During the reporting period, the Weyburn Police Service received 75 calls for service.

Council hopes to see good attendance at Business Retention & Expansion meeting

On Feb. 20, the town council meeting was held. They affirmed that letters for the Business Retention and Expansion meeting were sent out and hope to see many attend on Mar. 22.

There are 26 GFK student leaders and 4 chaperones attending the very first "We Day Saskatchewan" at the Credit Union Centre on February 27th, 2013! The students are getting very excited about this day that is centered around social action.
