Submitted article. The Yorkton Storm Speed Swim Club took to the water last week to kick off the season by hosting its annual swim meet. According to Meet Manager, Trevor Baker there were over 657 entries in the meet this year.

The Yorkton UCT Bantam AA Terriers managed to hold the visiting Melville Millionaire Bantams to a 5-5 tie at the Farrell Agencies Arena in their last home game before Christmas. The Bantam Mils led 4-2 after two periods.
