The Yorkton Terriers head to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Christmas break in third spot in the Sherwood Conference after a pair of home ice wins. The Terriers record sits at 19-14-1-1 for 40 points.

B3Xtreme Sports in Yorkton will be creating a Ambition/B3 snowskate team this winter. Ambition is a company that sells snowskates and issued a press release recently that they will be sponsoring a local snowskate team.

Santa Claus may or may not have been flying over the Battlefords over the weekend; he left some Christmas presents for some hockey players inside the North Battleford Civic Centre.

The Yorkton Dynamite Under 16 Girls captured gold for the second consecutive tournament in Regina at the Credit Union Eventplex.

The November female Cab Athlete of the month is a member of the Lady Saints Volleyball team. This athlete is was a leader on and off the court for the entire season. She led the team in spikes. She refuses to let the ball hit the floor.

The Yorkton Terriers earned five points in three Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games this past week. The Terriers record now sits at 15-13-0-1 for 36 points, good enough to climb into third place in the Sherwood Conference.

The visiting Generals took four of a possible four points from Yorkton over the weekend, but the home side was able to salvage one point when Devin McGonigal tallied with four minutes to go in the third with Yorkton down, 3-2.

Westside is a Finnish disc manufacturer which has impressed with some truly excellent efforts including the King and Northman reviewed here previously. This time the first disc I'll look at is the Swan putter. To begin with the disc came in hot pink.
