The month of November has ended, as has the Grade 5 and 6 volleyball at Neilburg Composite School. Coaches Mrs. Newport and Miss Massey report they had 15 students sign up to play volleyball this year.

United Church hosts festive service.

Speers Pioneer Memorial United Church held a Christmas party service Dec. 11. The Church collects for Interval House during this time. The service began at 4 p.m. The Sunday school performed a pageant. The program included singing and carols.

My journey back

For many of us, maintaining a healthy weight is a struggle. We make questionable choices in what we eat and drink, we work at mostly sedentary jobs and convince ourselves we don't have time to exercise.
