Possible 3.9% property tax hike coming

North Battleford residents could be looking at a mill rate increase of 3.9 per cent in 2012. That is the recommendation coming from City administration as it released its 2012 operations and capital budget.

Collision on Carlton and Pioneer

A collision has been reported at the intersection of Carlton Trail and Pioneer Avenue. North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to a collision around 9 a.m. Friday.

The Maidstone Legion Ladies' Auxiliary enjoyed a Christmas supper and gift draw Dec. 6. Chinese food from Sonny's was shared. Nov. 26, the Legion ladies held a Kaiser and cribbage tournament in the afternoon.

We kicked off December right in Maidstone High School. Basketball season is in full swing. The senior boys and senior girls have both hosted two games. The boys have played good games, but lost against tough teams.
