The Dekker Cenre was sold out Monday evening for a performance of the holiday classic, Handel's Messiah.

Hi there! Here we are into December. One wonders where October and November went. Time sure flies weather wise, but conditions are better than last year's fall when we were knee-deep in snow (or more).

December has arrived and it's hard to believe this year is in its last month. Christmas activities are in full swing. It's difficult to keep up with them all.

Well, we almost made it to Christmas break without a snow day but the horrible wind chill Friday meant the buses were unable to run. Hopefully it will be the only one until after Christmas break.

Much has been said over the past several months about efforts to revive the downtown district. Getting people to think positively again about downtown is a challenge, given the disrepair the area fell into in the last number of years.
