Halloween was quiet and uneventful this year.

The Battlefords Art Club successful Sparkle With Art show and sale marked the last of the snow free season.

Aug. 24 and 25 the HMR Sport Horse Club hosted the third in their 2013 competition series. This two-day hunter/jumper show welcomed local, provincial and out-of-province competitors.

Here we are and only eight weeks away until the days begin to get longer! Hmm eight weeks to Christmas and nine weeks left in the year.

The 2013-2014 Battlefords Community Players season opens with a hilarious murder mystery. This fast moving witty play by Ken Ludwig takes place in Connecticut at the Gillette Castle on Christmas Eve 1936.
