The Western Development Museum was invaded by Vikings Feb. 24 to 26. About 100 Sons of Norway members for eight lodges - six from Alberta and two from Saskatchewan - arrived at the museum for the annual sports weekend.

Loonie pot split three ways

Bingo was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Feb. 22 with Bev Stewart and Jim Hartman doing the calling. The loonie pot was divided between Keith Weston, Denise Newton and Tillie Linkert. Jean Hartman provided lunch.

Rivers' Edge Quilters held their March 2 meeting with 21 members present. The Mystery Quilt weekend was enjoyed by eight members participating and other members sewing on UFOs.

Members host bingo

The March meeting of the Maidstone Legion Ladies' Auxiliary was held Tuesday evening in the Legion Hall with seven members present. The soup and sandwich lunch served at the Legion bowling went well.
