No water plant problems expected with rising waters
Despite rising waters from the North Saskatchewan River it was not expected that floodwaters will impact on water treatment in North Battleford. There had been concern raised about Water Treatment Plant No. 1's low-lying location close to the river.

Rollover on Highway 40
Emergency crews responded to a single vehicle rollover west of the Battlefords Saturday. The incident happened on Highway 40 around noon. The vehicle entered the ditch and landed on its roof, according to North Battleford Fire Department.

Collision sends one to hospital Thursday evening
