The corner of Carlton Trail and Frontier Way was the scene of a motor vehicle collision with injuries Friday. According to North Battleford Fire Department, the incident took place around 6:15 p.m. It involved a mini-van and a small passenger car.

Upgrades are coming to beach facilities at the Resort Village of Cochin thanks to funding help from the federal government. Federal support of $13,150 was announced by Gerry Ritz, MP for Battlefords-Lloydminster, Sept. 4.
