The September schedule of the North Battleford Touch Football League ended Tuesday with three at Beaver Lions Stadium. The Huskies looked to hold the Gophers off and hold on to first place after beating the Broncos 34-8 Tuesday.

The Battlefords Midget Stars started the 2011-12 regular season on the weekend by travelling to Wilcox to take on the Notre Dame Argos. The Argos out shot the Stars 108 to 30 while out scoring the Stars 20-4 in two games.
