Nolan Rohatyn is picking up right where he left off.

Three minor baseball teams from Weyburn were at the Legasse Tournament in Regina during the May long weekend. The Weyburn Oilers secured the Legasse title in the mosquito division, a title that they had not won since 2004.

Local and area riders took several of the top spots at a Canadian Motorsport Racing Corporation event held at the Moffat Pits on May 16. Weyburnite Codie Rouse earned first place overall in the Pro MX-2 after earning first place in both rounds.

Olympia Fitness held their first Olympia Running Club meeting on May 16 for joggers looking for partners to keep them motivated. The group will meet every Sunday at 9 a.m. for a group run.

Estevan's Aaron Turnbull couldn't be beat at Estevan Motor Speedway on Saturday. Turnbull, driving car 21, won all of his races - his heat, the trophy dash and the feature race - in the IMCA modifieds division, to take home the Triple Crown.
