At 10103 - 11th Ave. in downtown North Battleford, the once imposing hundred year old Sallows & Boyd building, more recently, and infamously, known as the Pigeon Hotel, stands empty, forlorn and deteriorating.

The Neilburg seniors held their monthly Games Day Feb. 6 at the Friendship Korner. Marrian Graham and Vonnie Rutherford teamed up to win the A side of the shuffleboard tournament. Irene Ducherer and Shirley Nuspl were the runners-up.

Denholm Curling Club held their annual bonspiel Feb. 4 and 5 with nine teams entered and $1,400 given out in prize money.

In case you're chomping at the bit to see the program for this year's Battlfefords Kiwanis Music Festival, the program will be available for $7 at Sobeys after Feb. 24, or this coming weekend.
