There will be a new champion in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League this season. Wednesday, the Humboldt Broncos completed their sweep of the La Ronge Ice Wolves with a 6-2 victory.

Five consecutive district gold medals for junior curling, four district golds for senior curling, two consecutive regional medals for seniors and three trips to high school mixed curling provincial championships.
