Senior AAA - The Lloydminster Border Kings hosted the Rosetown Red Wings in the first game of the semifinal series Sunday. Both teams have several notable players with professional, WHL, CIS and SJHL experience and it showed in the first game.

The Battlefords Bantam AA Barons remain one of the hottest teams in the league, as they wrapped up their regular season on the weekend. The Barons skated to an 8-6 win against Prince Albert Friday, as they fired 54 shots at the net.
