Convention elects new president

SSAI's convention is over with for another year. My time as president has come to an end and Sheila Righi, the past first vice-president has taken over the reins and all letters and communications should now be addressed to her.

A little rain two days ago brought us some relief from the hot weather. The hot weather is forecast to continue for the week, so the harvesting operation will speed up.

The Maidstone Museum annual corn roast and antique show was held Labour Day. The weatherman co-operated and gave up a warm, sunny, summer day. There were eight antique vehicles on display from locally, North Battleford and Lloydminster.
