The 12-2 Meadow Lake White Sox and 12-2 Lloydminster Meridian Twins both grabbed 1-0 series leads in the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League's semifinals Monday evening. The Twins hosted Unity and cruised to a 12-2 win.

New Horizons back in action

After missing a week because of rain, 42 golfers from the New Horizons were out to play Monday. Jutta and Lyle Whitbread along with Don Dill and Brian Miller topped the scoring and came in at one under par.
