The top two teams in the Battlefords Senior Soccer Association's Men's League met in the final just the way the standings suggested it should be. MNG tied the game late in regular time when Cam Foulds kicked in the tying marker.

Annual sailing regatta draws competitors from Western Canada
Boats from Saskatchewan and Alberta gathered in Meota for the Battlefords Sailing Club Regatta once again. Although it was perfect lake weather Saturday it wasn't ideal for sailing because of the lack of wind.

Richard [Dick] Doepker was born the youngest of 12 on a farm near Annaheim. He graduated from high school at St. Peters College in Muenster and went to Saskatoon to work and pitch for the Saskatoon Moores.
