The Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 17 year old male. Leslie Whitebear was last seen leaving the Echo Valley Youth Center on November 15 at 5:00 p.m.

YRHS Raider Gridder head coach Roby Sharpe announces that YRHS defensive back Paul Toth was voted all star middle linebacker in the Regina Inter-collegiate Football League (RIFL) this year.

The Yorkton Regional High School (YRHS) senior boys hosted southern playoffs, featuring the top eight teams in the south battling for three berths at the provincial championship tournament. The Senior raiders swept their pool, winning three matches.

The Yorkton UCT Bantam AA Terriers split a pair of games on home ice recently. The visiting Regina Canucks claimed an 8-2 win over the home town Bantam Terriers at the Kinsmen Arena.

The Yorkton Terriers seem to have found a winning formula after a going through a bit of a slump. The turn around started with the 4-1 win over the Flin Flon Bombers.

Street Hockey The First Annual Yorkton KidSport Street Hockey Tournament will be held Saturday, December 10 at SIGN on Broadway. All funds generated will go to help Yorkton youth participate in sports.

Youth in the community need to plan for their future, and start looking at the different opportunities for education and employment.
