Julian Sadlowski, former North Battleford mayor, has died

Former North Battleford mayor Julian Sadlowski - educator, artist, historian and public servant - has passed away. Sadlowski, mayor of North Battleford from 2003 to 2009, passed away Friday night after a long battle with cancer. He was 76.

Arson at Gov't House investigated

Battlefords RCMP are looking into an incidence of arson at the Government House site south of Battleford. Two vehicles were observed leaving the area at the time of the March 24 fire. Police are still looking for a car and a truck.
