The Battlefords Bantam Sharks opened their season with two wins on the weekend. Friday, the Sharks hosted Viking, Alta. Danae Bugler was sharp in net as the Sharks came away with a 1-0 victory.

Curling clubs amalgamate for future

Two will become one. That is the case for the two curling clubs in the Battlefords, the North Battleford Granite Curling Club and Battleford Community Co-operative Curling Club, that will dissolve into one new entity.
